Destinations: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

• Activities:

  • Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

  • Meet and greet by your Maasai Mtembezi East safari guide.

  • Transfer to hotel for check-in and rest.

  • Optional: Short Nairobi city tour depending on arrival time. Visit Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or Maasai Market.

Accommodation: Hotel in Nairobi (3-star or higher, depending on package)

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

• Departure Time: 07:30 AM

• Distance: Approx. 160 km | Drive: 3–4 hours

Activities:

• After breakfast, drive through the Great Rift Valley with a photo stop.

• Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park by late morning.

• Game drive to spot:

  • White and black rhinos, flamingos (seasonal), giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and lions.

• Visit Baboon Cliff for scenic views of the park.

Accommodation: Lodge inside or near Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

• Departure Time: 07:00 AM

• Distance: Approx. 300 km | Drive: 5–6 hours

Activities:

• Early breakfast and checkout.

• Drive to Maasai Mara via Narok Town.

• Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.

• Afternoon game drive to start exploring the famous Mara savannahs.

Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp in Maasai Mara

Day 4: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Activities:

• Early breakfast, then full-day game drive with packed lunch.

• Explore the plains, woodlands, and river banks.

• Spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino).

• Visit the Mara River (site of the Great Migration – seasonal).

• Optional: Maasai village visit in the evening ($ extra).

Accommodation: Same lodge/camp in Maasai Mara

Day 5: Another Full Day in Maasai Mara

Options:

• Option 1: Full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

• Option 2: Morning and afternoon game drives with lunch at the camp.

• Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (extra cost, pre-booking required).

Accommodation: Same lodge/camp in Maasai Mara

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (or onward to Arusha)

• Departure Time: 06:30 AM

• Distance to Nairobi: 270 km | 5–6 hours

• Distance to Arusha (if continuing): ~500 km | 9–10 hours

Activities:

• Optional early morning game drive.

• Breakfast and depart for Nairobi.

• Lunch in Nairobi (or lunch box if heading straight to airport).

• Drop-off at:

  • JKIA Airport for evening departure, OR

  • Continue by road to Arusha (optional transfer available).

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Accommodation: Not included (end of tour)
