On arrival at Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be met by our driver who will take you on the short 20-minute transfer to your hotel in Stone Town, the historic quarter of Zanzibar City. Begin your morning with breakfast at the hotel, then meet our expert local guide for a fascinating tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the vibrant market, rich with exotic aromas and local activity. Visit the tranquil 19th-century cathedral, built on the site of the former slave market. Wander through narrow streets, admiring Arab houses with hidden courtyards and Indian residences adorned with balustrades. Discover historic landmarks like the Tip Tip House, the Old Fort, and the People’s Palace Museum. Enjoy lunch at the Silk Route Indian rooftop restaurant with ocean views. Return to Tembo House Hotel for dinner and a leisurely evening.
After breakfast, spend a leisurely morning at your Stone Town hotel. Enjoy an early lunch before we transfer you to your selected beach hotel for the next phase of your exotic Zanzibar stay. After the vibrant energy of Stone Town, it's time to unwind and savor some true relaxation.
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You can choose to relax by the hotel pool or on the beach, perhaps under a swaying palm tree. If total relaxation isn't your style, you can swim or explore various activities available through your hotel reception.
Today is your second full day to unwind at your oceanside hotel. Take a gentle swim in the sea, enjoy the active facilities available, or venture out to explore more of this beautiful island. The hotel reception staff are ready to assist with arranging any activity or excursion that catches your interest.
After taking breakfast at your hotel, we will transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward flight. If you have a later departure, we will arrange for you to have lunch before you leave the hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast today will be served at your beach hotel.
