Day 1: Arusha – Amboseli National Park (Kenya)

  • Departure: 07:00 AM

  • Distance: ~180 km | 4–5 hours (via Namanga border)

Activities:

  • Cross the Namanga border (Tanzania/Kenya).

  • Arrive in Amboseli National Park by mid-day.

  • Lunch at the lodge or tented camp.

  • Afternoon game drive with views of Mount Kilimanjaro and herds of elephants.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Activities:

  • Early morning game drive for best wildlife viewing and clear Kilimanjaro views.

  • Return for breakfast, relax at the lodge.

  • Afternoon game drive to see buffalo, lions, giraffes, and more.

  • Optional: Visit a Maasai village in the area.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

  • Departure: 07:30 AM

  • Distance: ~310 km | 6–7 hours (via Nairobi)

Activities:

  • Scenic drive via Nairobi with a stopover for lunch.

  • Continue to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley.

  • Optional boat ride to see hippos and birdlife.

  • Evening at leisure.

Day 4: Hell’s Gate National Park (Optional Activity Day)

Activities:

  • Visit Hell’s Gate National Park for walking or biking safari.

  • Explore Fischer’s Towergorges, and hot springs.

  • Alternatively, relax by the lake or visit Crescent Island for a walking safari.

  • Return to lodge and prepare for the next day’s journey.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve

  • Departure: 07:30 AM

  • Distance: ~250 km | 5–6 hours

Activities:

  • Drive through the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve.

  • Arrive in time for lunch.

  • Afternoon game drive to see the first glimpse of Mara wildlife.

Accommodation: Safari lodge/tented camp in Maasai Mara


Day 6: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Activities:

  • Full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the reserve.

  • Track the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

  • Visit the Mara River (migration route, seasonal).

  • Optional Maasai village cultural visit in the evening.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (or Arusha)

  • Departure: 06:30 AM

  • Distance to Nairobi: ~270 km | 5–6 hours

  • Distance to Arusha: ~500 km | 9–10 hours (optional)

Activities:

  • Optional early morning game drive.

  • Breakfast and check-out.

  • Drive back to Nairobi or continue to Arusha depending on group plan.

  • Drop-off at airport or hotel.
